FeedFIT® Feeder Training
How often have you taken the time to explain the "why" to your feed team? The position of the feeder is viewed as a key to the success of the dairy and the training and communication of the position is vital. This module includes our FeedFIT® feeder training that covers a variety of topics that are pertinent to operational excellence.
Registration is temporarily closed for our Feeder Training in Minnesota.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, the GPS Dairy Feeder Training that was scheduled for Tuesday, November 19th at Trailside Holsteins in Fountain, Minnesota has been postponed. The rescheduled date has not yet been determined, but once the event is rescheduled, GPS Dairy will share the date and event details.
Since 2016, the FeedFIT® Feeder Training program has impacted hundreds of feeders, feed managers and the bottom line of dairy operations. Feed and how it is fed is arguably the most important part of any dairy—small or large. For this reason, providing the training and understanding the basics of dairy nutrition, feed mixing and on-time delivery are critical. GPS Dairy Consulting has organized a series of feeder schools designed in three-tiers to teach dairy nutrition basics to front-line feed managers. The goal of the FeedFIT® Feeder Training program is to elevate the feeder position in the industry to better align with the fiscal impact the feeding management has on any dairy. The certification program allows feeders to learn, grow and advance in their responsibilities and performance. These sessions are presented in English and Spanish!
Since 2020, the GPS Feeder Training program became one of multiple modules offered through the FeedFIT® program. Learn more about FeedFIT®.
